China is a safe country for international students to study MBBS. In recent years, more international students from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Africa, ASEAN, and CIS countries have Study MBBS in China than boys. PMC A contains the list of universities for Pakistani students
Pakistani students are advised to enroll only in PMC A. Students who graduate from PMC A category universities can immediately get PRMP and after a year of homework, they can appear for the PMC NLE exam.
Chinese medical schools are recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Health, the Chinese Ministry of Education, and WCAME. Chinese graduates can apply for USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK GMC), AMC (Australia), and ECFMG qualifications.

There are more than 200 medical colleges that offer MBBS/BDS in English, but MOE lists only 45 universities that offer MBBS/BDS in English. MBBS Scholarships in China
China is one of the developing countries that offer partial or full scholarships to most of the countries in the world. Typically, China offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, Master’s, Doctoral, and Ph.D. programs in areas such as humanities, social sciences, medical and biological sciences, business education, engineering and technology.
Chinese universities do not usually offer MBBS/BDS scholarships at the time of admission, but the provincial government may offer some form of partial scholarship or tuition-free MBBS scholarship, which can be applied for through the university’s designated agent.
The authorized agency will collect the scholarship fees and submit the application on your behalf. Some Chinese universities provide skills-based scholarships for MBBS programs, but these scholarships are offered by the university and depend solely on the student’s performance. There are also scholarships for specially nominated countries such as ASEAN, CIS, and “One Belt, One Road” countries.
Recently, the Chinese government wants to invite ASEAN and CIS countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Kazakhstan to study medicine with a full scholarship, but this does not apply to all universities; each university and provincial government in China has its own policy.

Please note that some Chinese universities offer scholarships, but they are in Chinese, so students should check the language of instruction before applying and traveling to China. Students may receive an admission letter from the university’s official admissions office to clarify the medium. If scholarships are offered by the university, the student will receive Jw202, and if by the China Scholarship Council, the student will receive Jw201. MBBS in China Admission Criteria:
Here it is important to mention the basic admission requirements to get an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree in China. Chinese medical colleges accept students above the age of 17 who intend to enter medical school. However, they must have passed class 10+2 with good grades. Students must obtain good grades in English and in subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology on the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC).

Classrooms in Chinese universities equipped with modern projectors and multimedia equipment. Most Chinese medical universities employ qualified Chinese teachers who have completed their studies in Europe, and some of them hold PhD degrees in Europe, UK. Chinese institutions usually offer admissions from September to fall at all universities, but if the university is not full, they start enrollment in March to spring. However, some universities offer regular admissions in March for MBBS applicants. Students should read the admission letter carefully before applying to the Chinese Embassy.
