After a disappointing, Mica McNeill of GB stated that something went “drastically faulty” with two heats remaining start to the two-woman bobsleigh left Great Britain out of contention.
McNeill and partner Montell Douglas currently sit 19th after the opening two heats out of 20 pairs.
They are 2.49 seconds off Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi, known as German leaders.
McNeill stated that where we don’t fully know what’s going on, It is one of those things.
She also added; that it hasn’t all come together, has gone something drastically faulty.
On Saturday, the final two heats take place by determining the final standings with the aggregate time of the four heats.
For Team GB, It is yet more frustration at the Yanqing Sliding Centre on their way to an 11th-place finish after the two-man bobsleigh team crashed on their third run.
For Britain, in the four-man event starting on Saturday, Brad Hall, Nick Gleeson, Taylor Lawrence, and Greg Cackett; are set to compete.
There was a moment of history for Douglas, despite the below-par display, in different sports, who became the first woman to represent GB at the summer and winter Olympics, at the Beijing Summer Games in 2008, having competed in the 100m and 4x100m relay.
